Why did you chose this profession?
I love my job! I knew right from the interview, this was the place I wanted to work.  We are like a big family.  I have formed many friendships I cherish here at OPT and have never had a more fulfilling position.  In both my in office and outside marketing responsibilities, I enjoy working with patients and my colleagues.
We pride ourselves on our one on one approach at OPT, and this is perfect for me, as I am a PEOPLE person and love getting to know our patients.  It is a great feeling, when former patients come back to see me on holidays or my birthday. They remember us because we made them feel special in some way and they continue to do the same for us!

Interests:
I enjoy traveling, photography, shopping, local events and festivals, and music.

What do you find most challenging or compelling about your job?
You will never please everyone all of the time, no matter what field you are in.  You just have to be yourself, take interest in their lives and try to lift people up who are down.  I always try to initiate a conversation and create a casual, comfortable atmosphere.  Sometimes all it takes is a smile to brighten someone's day. "You get more with honey".
